Earlier this year we lost a beloved and respected member of our team. Shannon was a powerful presence in the Roanoke Restaurant community for decades. She joined us here at the Tap Room not long after Covid and during her time here organized a number of pet adoption events. She Knew every dog in the neighborhood by name and no pup could pass our front door without getting a treat. In honor of her memory, we are holding a pet adoption event on Sunday, September 27th from noon to two with Angels of Assisi. Volunteers will be on hand with pets up for adoption and they will be taking donations of pet food and treats and monetary donations for their Biscuit Fund in her name.
